Vivocha raises € 1.5 million from Vertis Venture and Principia II

Vivocha, an italian startup which provides online customer care services to corporates clients has raised € 1.5 million from Vertis Venture and Principia II. This is a really great news in view of its participation to TechCrunch Italy which will be held in Rome on next 27th September 2012. 

Vivocha, an italian startup with headquarter in Cagliari - Sardinia - and offices in Milan and San Francisco, offers an cloud-based platform of Customer Care Interactions addressed to corporate clients which want to improve the real-time management to target their audience aiming at maximizing and optimizing online sales and assistance services. By enabling all real-time channels of communication such as Chat, VoIP, Callback, and "share" functions (co-browsing, form sharing and content sharing) Vivocha
adds to e-commerce and web interaction a very important component: the human support. Vivocha, does not requires the installation of any software or infrastructure. Both integration services (such as tags, APIs and web services used to integrate on a corporate website) and management tools (desktop agente, configuration, monitors) are fully web-based and require, client side, nothing more than a standard browser.

One year after the launch of its Beta version, Vivocha has already conquered the trust of big clients such as ENEL, Wind-Infostrada, Fastweb, Findomestic, Edison, Foppappedretti, Genialloyd, ING Direct, CheBanca, RCS, Linear, WeBank, Ausilium, PosteMobile, Nectar, as well as an increasing number of e-commerce operators.

Leveraging on the experience so far gained, Vivocha aims to extend the market of Online Engagement solutions to the increasing segment of companies which operate in the e-commerce space or which are increasingly shifting customer care processes on the web. With this funding coming from two of the principal venture capital funds in Italy, the company will be able to accelerate the international growth process as well as the ambitious aim to become a global player in the market of Customer Service.

With the entry of the two funds also the board gets updated: Daniele Barki (President) representing Reitek S.p.A., Renato Vannucci for Vertis SGR, Marco Magnocavallo for Principia SGR, and the two co-founders Federico Pinna (CTO) and Gianluca Ferranti (CEO).

On Vivocha
Vivocha was founded in 2012 as spin-off of Reitek S.p.A. a leading company in the production and marketing of solutions of contact center and campaign management.

On Principia SGR
Principia SGR is today one of the biggest players in the italian venture capital industry, for managed assets, through two closed-end funds, "Principia Fund" and "Principia II", with focus on Central and Southern Italy and on typical italian peculiarities in terms of creativity and skills.
