Extreme Sport is business: MilkyWay raises €720k from TTVenture and Atlante Seed

Passion for sport as entrepreneurial idea with high growth rate. With this target is mind the venture capital funds TT Venture, a fund managed by Fondamenta SGR, and Atlante Seed, the fund managed by IMI Fondi Chiusi SGR, an Intesa Sanpaolo Group firm, have invested in MilkyWay, a Modena-based startup focused on design, manufacture and online sale of bike-trial and extreme sports equipment.

MilkyWay was founded in 2011 from an intuition of its founder Jacopo Vigna - a young mechanical engineer from Modena - (supported by an angel investor, the entrepreneur Pietro Vandelli).  After some experiences gained in the biotech sector as well as in the racing departments at Ducati and Aprila, Jacopo Vigna decided to undertake an entrepreneurial path transferring the technological innovation in the bike-trial space by founding the company.

United Ventures: just "" to "LoveTheSign"

United Ventures, the investment company born from the union of Annapurna Ventures, of Massimiliano Magrini and JV Capital of Paolo Gesess, to "shake up digital entrepreneurship by spotting and promoting disruptive innovations" has recently invested € 250,000 in, a web platform for collaborative writing where each user has 20 lines of text and multimedia content to create the incipit of a story and/or to continue other user's stories. 

United Ventures, which is sponsored by the italian investment fund - Fondo Italiano d'Investimento - has decided to bet on the idea of the four founders of Alessandro Biggi, Francesco Scalambrino, Marco Pugliese and Pietro Pollichieni, all of age between 24 and 26, who decided to leave their investment banking jobs at JP Morgan and Unicredit in order to convert their passion for writing and reading for an entrepreneurial project, seeing the crisis of the publishing sector as an opportunity of innovation, and "incubated" their idea at the startup incubator H-Farm Ventures
